Chris Hemsworth is moving back to where his roots are in Australia with his wife, Elsa Pataky, and three children: 4-year-old daughter India and 2-year-old sons Tristan and Sasha.
Hemsworth sat down with Modern Luxury Magazine for their April 2016 issue and explained the move."L.A. is a tough place to get around with kids," Hemsworth said. "I love what I do as an actor, but when you are surrounded by it constantly, it becomes a bit suffocating. It's nice to have conversations with people and be a part of a community that doesn't live and breathe that world."
While in L.A., Hemsworth is followed by paparazzi and struggles to get his family around living in close quarters. In Australia however, Hemsworth is treated just like any one else is, being able to raise his kids normally. "Moving to a kind of farm setup back here on the coast of Australia has been the best thing," Hemsworth said.
By living in Australia, Hemsworth can spend more time with his children, saying he enjoys "waiting for my kids to come give me a hug and tell me they love me," Hemsworth said.
Hemsworth is scheduled to begin filming for the final Thor movie and two more Avengers films.
