Disney finally released the first image of art from the new DuckTales series, which will bring Huey, Dewey and Louie back to the small screen.
The new image shows the character designs with a modern look that still retains a bit of the Carl Barks cartoon strip style that the original series was based on. Donald Duck even has a black shirt, just like he did in the old Barks strips. Scrooge McDuck is behind the wheel, while an excited Webby Vanderquack (sans familiar pink bow) looks out the back.
Disney XD just unveiled the VERY first image of DuckTales coming in 2017! Are you a fan of the animation style?

Back in Febraury 2015, Disney announced plans to bring back DuckTales for a new generation that has never visited Duckburg or experienced the greatness of Disney’s duck universe. The original series ran from 1987 to 1990 and Disney also produced a movie called DuckTales the Movie: Treasure of the Lost Lamp.
The new series debuts on Disney XD in 2017. Woo-hoo!
