Cesar Millan, known as the ‘Dog Whisperer,’ is under investigation for animal cruelty claims for an incident that was featured on his show Cesar 911.

Authorities from the LA County Animal Control took a visit to the celebrity dog trainer’s Dog Psychology Center in Santa Clarita, Calif. on Thursday, March 10, however he wasn’t there.

According to TMZ, the incident involved the injuring of two pigs on his show, which spurred several complaints. A Change.org petition was even filed to ban Millan from television, which has nearly reached its goal of 10,000 signatures.

As shown in the clip below, Millan is being criticized for allowing his client’s dog to be set free amongst pigs – after previously killing two – in hopes that a “new environment” would help.

A rep for NatGeo Wild said in a statement to NBC4 about the incident, “Cesar and his animal pack effectively helped Simon to overcome his aggressive behavior toward other animals; as a result, Simon did not have to be separated from his owner or euthanized.”
