Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson took time out from filming his latest movie to visit young patients at a hospital in Savannah, Georgia.
The actor shared photos from his March 12 visit via Instagram.
“We shot #BAYWATCH scenes at Memorial Health Hospital and thought I'd pop up to the ward,” he wrote. “Awesome experience and THANK YOU to all the hard working and caring staff who helped make this visit possible. To all the kids I met - you guys keep smiling and staying strong. All the mamas and daddy's I met, y'all stay strong too.”
Johnson went on to say that doing things like this is really the best part of his fame.
As we previously reported, Johnson has been busy filming the Baywatch reboot, which also stars Zac Efron. He will be very busy next month as well. Besides working on the movie he is set to host the MTV Movie Awards with Kevin Hart on April 10 and one week prior to that will returning to the squared circle for WWE’s WrestleMania 32.
