Dylan O’Brien, the star of 20th Century Fox’s The Maze Runner franchise and MTV’s Teen Wolf series, was seriously injured during the filming of the new Maze Runner film today.

O’Brien, 24, was hurt during an accident, which left him with multiple broken bones. A stunt with a car went wrong, with the car running the actor over. He was rushed to a hospital in British Columbia, reports TMZ.

A spokesman for Fox sent a statement to The Hollywood Reporter, confirming that O’Brien was in an accident. Production will be put on hold while he remains hospitalized.

“He was immediately transferred to a local hospital for observation and treatment. Production on the film will be shut down while he recovers,” the studio said. “Our thoughts go out to Dylan for a full and speedy recovery.”

O’Brien stars as Thomas in the series, which began with 2014’s The Maze Runner. It was followed by Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials last year. Maze Runner: The Death Cure is scheduled for Feb. 17, 2017.

The actor also plays Stiles Stilinski on Teen Wolf. His other credits include The Internship and the upcoming Deepwater Horizon with Mark Wahlberg.
