Gigi Hadid mourns loss of cat, post pic of feline with Zayn Malik (Photos)

Gigi Hadid is mourning the loss of her cat and posted a throwback pic via social media as a tribute to her late pet.

The model took to Instagram to share a pic on March 20 after the death of her cat named Chub. In the image Hadid is hugging the feline as Malik gives her a kiss on her cheek.

“We love you always chub,” the caption with an angel and cat emoji read.

Malik posted the photo to his account as well, which appears to have been taken when his hair was longer before he shaved it.

On Twitter, Hadid also shared another pic of Chub lying on a bed next to another cat. She captioned that shot, “Brothaas.”

ET Online noted that Hadid and the former One Direction member were rumored to have been dating since November, but did not publically confirm their relationship until February. In January, Hadid appeared in Malik’s music video for his song “Pillowtalk.”
