While voters in a majority of Super Tuesday states want to see Donald Trump win the Republican presidential nomination, others were trying to figure out how to get to Canada.
In the hours after the Super Tuesday results started rolling in, Google searches for “how to move to Canada” jumped. Google’s Simon Rogers tweeted that searches jumped over 350 percent between 9 p.m. on March 1 and 12 a.m. this morning.
However, that was just the start, Mashable notes. Just after midnight, “how can I move to Canada” searches jumped by 1,150 percent. It later dropped to 500 percent later Wednesday.
Strangely enough, the current data shows many of the searches coming from Massachusetts, one of the states Trump won on Super Tuesday.
In addition to the Bay State, Trump won Vermont, Virginia, Georgia, Alabama, Tennessee and Arkansas. On the Democratic side, Hillary Clinton won seven states.
