Henry Cavill is sending a universal message to his overzealous female fans who see him out with his girlfriend, Tara King, and hit on him – asking them to respect King’s feelings in the situation.
During an interview with the UK’s Sunday Times, Cavill said he “doesn’t mind” the attention when he’s not with King, but when he is, it really gets under his skin when people shout sexual advances to him.
He does not like when “someone is being complimentary to me in order to disrespect her,” he said. Cavill, 32, and King, 19, made their debut as a couple at last month's Vanity Fair Oscars party.
The Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice star compared the advances to that of a woman getting shouted at by a “builder,” but added, "although, of course, I wouldn't feel physically threatened, as she might."
Cavill recently opened up about the financial aspect of his career, saying, “I’m not just doing this for the art. The money’s fantastic.”
