Hilary Swank and Ruben Torres announced on social media Tuesday that they are engaged.
The Academy Award-winning actress showed off her ring via her Instagram account and captioned the photo, “Went on a hike and this happened! I am so happy to share with you all, the engagement to my dear Ruben.”
People reported that a source said Torres proposed to Swank on March 19 while at the BNP Paribas Tennis Open in Palm Springs, California.
As we reported, the pair has been rumored to have been dating for about a year now but only made their public debut together in December.
Torres was a former professional tennis player and nowadays works as a financial advisor for UBS Financial Services. He still coaches the sport and was reportedly Swank’s tennis coach.
