Ian McShane just revealed several major spoilers about his role on Game of Thrones this year and he has no regrets about ruining the story for fans.

It all started when McShane said in an interview with BBC Breakfast that he'd be playing an ex-warrior who brings back a much-loved character. That all but confirms he'll be portraying the Elder Brother, who book fans have long speculated will be responsible for the return of Sandor Clegane.

Some readers were a bit miffed that he blatantly spoiled this plot turn, but McShane had no sympathy for that point of view.

“I was accused of giving the plot away, but I just think get a f---ing life," McShane told The Telegraph. "It’s only tits and dragons."

In fact, he immediately went on to reveal another spoiler by saying he at first wasn't sure if he could commit to a role on Game of Thrones, but he agreed when he found out he would only be in one episode.

"So that means I must die at the end of it," he said. "Great, I’m in."

The Game of Thrones crew always tries to avoid potential leaks, especially now that the episodes are no longer based on any book material, yet McShane has already revealed exactly who he's playing and that his character will die. Now if only he could go into detail about Jon Snow.

Game of Thrones returns for its sixth season on April 24.
