Kris Jenner made an appearance on Ellen Degeneres' talk show Monday and opened up about her friendship with Nicole Brown Simpson.
During her conversation with DeGeneres, Jenner revealed that the day after Brown Simpson was murdered, the two had plans to meet for lunch.
According to ABC, Jenner says she now believes that Simspon was planning to confide in her about O.J. Simpson abusing her.
"She and I were supposed to have lunch the next day-the day after she was murdered-and she said she wanted to show me some things and talk about what was in her safe. Now, unfortunately, it all makes sense that that's probably what she wanted to reveal to me that next day, which broke my heart because I'll always feel horrible that I didn't pay enough attention," Jenner said.
Jenner also revealed that she and ex-husband, the late Robert Kardashian, who were both good friends of O.J. and Nicole Simpson, had opposite opinions on Simpson's guilt or innocence. Jenner and Kardashian had been divorced for nearly three years at the time of the trial. Their friendship with Simpson and his family is referenced in the FX miniseries The People v. O.J. Simpson.
"It was very difficult because my ex-husband was on one side and I was kind of on the other, and the kids were in the middle," she said.
