Malia and Sasha Obama share major sister moment meeting Ryan Reynolds

First Daughters of President Barack Obama and Michelle Obama, Malia and Sasha, attended their first State Dinner at the White House in Washington, D.C. on March 10. The dinner was in honor of Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.

Four Canadian actors and actresses were invited to the formal event. One of them was Deadpool star Ryan Reynolds, who attended with his wife, Blake Lively, Entertainment Tonight reported.

Sasha, 14, and Malia, 17, had many memorable moments throughout the big night, but the one that took the cake seems to be meeting Reynolds.

In a photo taken by White House photographer Pete Souza, Sasha was shown beaming with excitement as she talked to the celebrity. Big sister Malia was also shown cheering her on in the background with two big thumbs up.

The First Daughters looked stunning in Naeem Khan embellished gowns, according to the Daily Mail. President Obama got a little choked up during his speech, calling attention to how grown his daughters have become during his presidency.

Prime Minister Trudeau mentioned the sisters in his speech, saying, "I admire you very much, both of you, for your extraordinary strength and your grace," according to Entertainment Tonight.
