During an appearance on The Howard Stern Show Wednesday morning, Maria Menounos’ longtime beau, Keven Undergaro, surprised her by proposing on air.
The 37-year-old E! News host has been dating Undergaro who is also her business partner for almost two decades. Stern was talking to Menounos about marriage and then suddenly asked Undergaro to speak.
Stern: I’m going to give the microphone to Maria’s longtime boyfriend. He wants to say something.
Undergaro: You know I do, and uh, it’s been so long…
Menounos: Are you about to propose to me? I’m going to die.
Undergaro: No.
But he did in fact get down on one knee and ask her to marry him.
“Although I said that this isn’t a proposal,” Undergaro told her. “I want to ask you something: Maria, would you make me the happiest man on earth, and would you marry me?”
Thankfully a stunned Menounos did not die, but she was certainly shocked.
