Ryan Gosling saves dog who ran out in the middle of the street while away with Eva Mendes

As if Ryan Gosling wasn’t dreamy enough, the actor saved a dog who ran out in the middle of the street last weekend while away with girlfriend Eva Mendes.

Gosling and Mendes, along with their 1-year-old daughter Esmeralda, rented out Frank Sinatra’s vacation home in Palm Springs, Calif. to celebrate Mendes’ 42nd birthday. While out picking up takeout from a local restaurant, Rick's Desert Grill, they spotted a man chasing after his dog.

The Big Short actor then took it upon himself to get out of his car and grab the stranger’s dog for him, thus saving the day. In pictures of the incident obtained by ETOnline, Gosling is seen handing over the dog to its owner and getting him or her out of harm’s way.

Back in December, Gosling gushed about Mendes that she's the only "person I'm supposed to be with."
