Sylvester Stallone was seen heading to the set of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 on March 4.
According to New York Daily News, Stallone was spotted leaving a hotel in Atlanta with a script in hand. The hotel is reportedly where the cast has been staying and he got into a car to go to Pinewood Studios. The car in question was reportedly assigned to actor Chris Pratt.
There has been no comment from Marvel Studios and nothing official has been announced whether Stallone would make an appearance in the film. However, a source told the Daily News that Stallone's role might just take the form of a cameo, which is different from his usual lead roles.
The first Guardians of the Galaxy was directed by James Gunn and starred Chris Pratt as Peter Quill, Zoe Saldana as Gamora, Dave Bautista as Drax, Vin Diesel as the voice of Groot and Bradley Cooper as the voice of Rocket.
As previously reported, the cast for the second movie was revealed last month to include Elizabeth Debicki, Kurt Russell and Chris Sullivan. Now Stallone himself may appear?
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 is set to be released on May 5, 2017.
