Nick Miller of New Girl may be the most laid-back, socially awkward, overly sarcastic and hysterical character to ever be written. The bartender from Chicago is eager to read other people's emotions and yet can't seem to figure out any of his own.
He's clueless, grumpy, goofy, lovable and extremely shockingly relatable. Maybe it's because he believes it's perfectly fine to watch TV all day, or knows that not eating vegetables technically makes you a "not successful adult." Or the fact that he loves burritos, hates exercising and finds it socially acceptable to fist pump to the "Cotton Eye Joe."
Perhaps it's his understanding of science that makes him so wise. Did the dinosaurs really exist? Is it a scientific coincidence that we treat outside wounds with rubbing alcohol and inside wounds with drinking alcohol?
Many things should be celebrated, like Nick Miller's ability to turn lemonade into lemons since 1981 and his top 10 moments on New Girl.
