On March 25, Miley Cyrus confirmed that she would be joining NBC's The Voice as a judge for Season 11.
The singer is no stranger to the show and has appeared on season 10 as an advisor to contestants and fans seemed to really love her presence while advising the hopefuls. However, when it came to the singer joining fellow judges Adam Levine, Blake Shelton and now Alicia Keys, fans weren't exactly thrilled.
They'd much rather have Gwen Stefani or Christina Aguilera return to the turning red chair.
Cyrus meanwhile is so excited to join the judges that she took to Instagram to tell her fans how she "can't wait" for the new season.
Cyrus is of course no stranger to singing. In fact, at age 23 she had 17 songs featured on the Billboard Hot 100, including "Wrecking Ball" which hit No. 1. She's been in the music business for 10 years and released 13 albums on her own and via Disney's Hannah Montana.
The main reason fans aren't willing to welcome Cyrus aboard as a judge is due to her actions, not talent. She's twerked and wagged her tongue onto the wrong side of many viewers and they can't let that go.
