In every Seth Rogen movie, it's pretty obvious that his co-stars are just the same group of people including James Franco, the other half of Rogen's dynamic duo ever since their days together on the short lived series "Freaks and Geeks."
Through the years the two have developed a crew of actors who appear in their movies, whether they're acting with them on screen or are the writers and directors behind the scenes. This legendary crew consists of Jonah Hill, Jay Baruchel, Danny McBride, Craig Robinson, Micheal Cera and occasionally Jason Segel.
It all happened back in 1999 when Rogen, Franco and Segel met on "Freaks and Geeks." Baruchel came into the picture in 2001 with the TV series "Undeclared," also starring Rogen and Segel.
Since 2005, the crew has been in several mostly comedic movies together. However, only one has included all of them. It's a rare occasion, but they have done more serious films together as well. Usually Franco is a part of those.
