Jill Soloway, the Emmy-winning creator of Transparent, is teaming up with Amazon on her next project.

Soloway will co-write and direct Ten Aker Wood, a coming-of-age movie about a woman leaving Los Angeles to start a pot farm in Northern California, where she embraces a new life. She told Variety that the film is “partly autobiographical.”

In addition to the new movie, Soloway is developing a pilot for Amazon called I Love Dick. Based on the novel by Chris Kraus, the pilot will star Kathryn Hahn, Deadline reported last month. The pilot was written by Sarah Gubbins.

Soloway won an Emmy last year for directing the Transparent episode “Best New Girl.” She also has two nominations for her work on Six Feet Under. Her other credits include the 2013 movie Afternoon Delight and United States of Tara.

Ten Aker Wood is just one of many high-profile movies in the works at Amazon Studios. The studio will also release Woody Allen’s next movie and is developing Barry Levinson’s movie about the Los Angeles comedy scene during the ‘60s and ‘70s.
