President Barack Obama continued his trip to South America as planned this week and was in Argentina on March 23. While attending a State Dinner at the Centro Cultural Kirchner in Buenos Aires, he was reluctantly talked into dancing the tango.

A pair of tango dancers performed and, when they stopped, the female dancer asked Obama to dance with her. He was reluctant at first, but eventually agreed to awkwardly dance with her. The male dancer also danced with First Lady Michelle Obama.

The tango did seem a bit strange for the president, since it was only a day after the terrorist attacks in Brussels. Obama decided to continue his trip through Latin America and South America, despite the attacks, which killed at least 34 people. The Islamic State has claimed responsibility for the attacks.
