Actor Wentworth Miller, 43, recently became the victim of fat-shaming from an Internet meme. Instead of sitting back, the Prison Break actor sent out a powerful message on his Facebook about depression.
The meme was posted on the LAD Bible's Facebook page, featuring a side by side of a shirtless Miller from Prison Break, when he had a shaved head and was very in shape, and a photo of a heavier Miller in a red t-shirt with long hair.

"Today I found myself the subject of an Internet meme. Not for the first time. This one, however, stands out from the rest," he started his lengthy post with. "In 2010, semi-retired from acting, I was keeping a low-profile for a number of reasons. First and foremost, I was suicidal."
In a desperate search for comfort, Miller admitted to having turned to food. And that it could have just as easily been any other vice.
He said that the second photo was taken in Los Angeles during the worst days of his adult life years back. At the time, he suffered in silence and contemplated suicide.
Thankfully Miller is in a better place now, but he admitted that "it hurt to breathe" when he first came across the meme.
Looking at the picture on the right side of the meme, he said the image reminds him of his struggle."My endurance and my perseverance in the face of all kinds of demons. Some within. Some without. Like a dandelion up through the pavement, I persist."
After sharing his battle with depression, he included links to organizations for others to get help with suicide and depression, urging fans to reach out about their struggle.
The actor is set to return to Fox's Prison Break sometime in 2016. The show is returning for season five after the series wrapped back in 2010 with a very unlikely chance of returning. Alas, Miller's character Michael Scofield is returning, even though it ended with him dead and buried.
