Any Batman fans out there that were less than thrilled by Batman vs. Superman might be happy to hear that another Batman movie, The Killing Joke, has released a 10-minute teaser.

DC Entertainment released an extended 10-minute featurette for The Killing Joke, an animated film set in the Batman universe. The teaser gives a glimpse of the animation and details the film's origins and creation. The film is based on a 1980's graphic novel of the same name, which acts as the origin story of Batman's arch-nemesis, The Joker. Actor Mark Hamill, who also voiced The Joker in Batman: The Animated Series, will voice the infamous villain.

Den of Geek reports that the film will premiere at San Diego Comic Con in July.

The Killing Joke is not the only portrayal of The Joker audiences will be seeing soon. Jared Leto will take on the role in Suicide Squad, which as we previously reported, will be released on Aug. 15. Leto's look for the film will differ from the traditional, comic-book portrayal that The Killing Game appears to utilize.
