New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick called the team’s quarterback, Tom Brady, the greatest quarterback of all-time on Thursday.

Belichick made the comment at the 2016 Salesforce World Tour event in Boston, where he was the keynote speaker. Brady was the keynote speaker at the event last year as well. The Patriots head coach said that there is no other quarterback that he would rather have than Brady, according to ESPN. He also praised the signal caller for mentoring a group of “special guys” that he’s privileged to coach.

Belichick discussed the Pats' success saying, “One of the things we’ve tried to do is to be a little bit of an outlier in some respects. When I came to the Patriots in 2000, as the head coach, we played a 3-4 defense, and we only had really two teams in the NFL- us and the Pittsburgh Steelers — that ran the 3-4. We had quite a bit of success, won three super bowls in four years, and by 2005 half the league was playing a 3-4 defense. We've had to find different ways to capitalize on the talent that's available. Otherwise, we're going to get like the fifth-, sixth-, seventh-best guy at whatever the position is. So we've tried to take more of our way in areas that are less populated."

Brady became the Patriots starting quarterback in 2001. Last year, he threw for 36 touchdowns and had just seven interceptions. He has four Super Bowl titles, three Super Bowl MVP awards, two NFL MVP awards, and 11 Pro Bowls in his career, according to the New York Daily News.

A resume like that would certainly put Brady in the conversation as possibly being the greatest quarterback of all time, but some may not agree with that because of Deflategate and other cheating scandals that the team have been a part of.

If Brady isn’t the greatest quarterback of all-time, then the who is?
