Fans of Freeform’s smash hit, Pretty Little Liars, have something to be excited about. In addition to the series returning with all new episodes this summer, Pretty Little Liars: The Complete Sixth Season hits shelves on April 19.
Picking up right where season five left off, Hanna (Ashley Benson), Aria (Lucy Hale), Spencer (Troian Bellisario), Emily (Shay Mitchell) and Mona (Janel Parrish) are being held captive by their tormentor, Charles, and must fight to survive Charles’ dangerous games. As time begins running out, the girls attempt to bargain for their release, while their beaus, Caleb (Tyler Blackburn), Ezra (Ian Harding) and Toby (recurring guest star Keegan Allen) and Alison (Sasha Pieterse) create a plan to help them from back home in Rosewood.
With Ali and the guys' assistance, the girls are eventually able to escape and return to their families, but not without fallout. Aside from the emotional trauma of being locked up in Charles’ dollhouse, the girls still have the task of piecing together their captor’s personal history and motives for stalking them.
After sorting through various leads, the girls’ search for answers culminates on prom night, when they come face-to-face with Charles once again and a shocking reveal takes place.
Meanwhile, the second half of the season jumps five years forward with all new secrets and scandals, after another tragedy rocks Rosewood.
In addition to the entire sixth season, the five-disc DVD set also includes deleted scenes, as well as behind-the-scenes featurettes on the PLL Prom, the 5-year time jump and, of course, the fans’ favorite PLL couples.
Jam-packed with lies, mystery, romance and superb acting from the entire cast—especially the four lead actresses—Pretty Little Liars: The Complete Sixth Season is a must-own for fans who have followed Hanna, Aria, Spencer and Emily’s story from the beginning.
The series will launch season seven on June 21 on Freeform.
