Are dating apps inherently racist? The Daily Show correspondents Jessica Williams and Ronny Chieng are now convinced so.

The pair reported on the trend in a special segment for the Comedy Central series. In the clip, they speak to a racially diverse group of dissatisfied daters who can't help but feel that their profiles are overlooked. OKCupid's co-founder Christian Rudder confirms that, indeed, the data from dating sites shows that the profiles of people of color are routinely selected against.

The segment even included an experiment in which the correspondents created multiple dating app profiles for Chieng, to no avail. The Asian correspondent did not receive a single match in a week of solely right-swiping, which speaks to the segment's point.
