Her Royal Highness, Kate Middleton, Duchess of Cambridge will appear on the June cover of British Vogue magazine, which will also commemorate the magazine's 100th anniversary.

The cover is part of a series of photographs taken in collaboration with the National Portrait Gallery. Middleton has been a patron of NPG since 2012 and was photographed for the gallery by Josh Olins. "His work is known for its quiet elegance, the character he captures from his sitters and a degree of relaxed understatement," NPG said in a statement about the photos. The total portfolio includes eight photographs, which will also appear in the upcoming issue.

The photo shoot took place in Norfolk and was styled by Lucinda Chambers, British Vogue fashion director.  Showing the Duchess in a variety of casual clothing, they showcase her love for the countryside.

Two photos will also be part of a larger exhibition titled Vogue 100: A Century of Style at the National Portrait Gallery.  All eight photos will be available when the magazine is released May 5 and the exhibition will run until May 22, 2016.
