After 20 years in the NBA, Lakers star Kobe Bryant played his final game on April 13 and capped off his career with an amazing performance in front of the home crowd.

For his Hollywood ending, the 37-year-old addressed the crowd before the game on what became known as “Mamba Day” and took 50 shots on the court. He ended up scoring a season-high 60 points against the Utah Jazz en route to a 101-96 victory.

Bryant is a future Hall of Famer who not only has five NBA championships, is third on the NBA’s all-time scoring list, was an 18-time All-Star, league MVP, two-time Finals MVP and has two Olympic gold medals; he will forever be recognized as one of basketball's all-time greats. His fellow NBA players know this and many of them joined in honoring and reacting to The Black Mamba's final game.
