Baltimore Ravens running back Terrance West is suing a hotel in Florida where he claims he was actually robbed not once, but twice in one day.
ESPN noted that West, 25, filed the lawsuit on April 6 against South Beach Group Hotels over two bizarre incidents he claims occurred on the same day last February.
TMZ Sports obtained court documents which detailed the two alleged incidents. The docs say that while at the Metropole South Beach hotel in Miami, West and his friend spoke to two females who approached them. After West, his buddy, and the ladies went their separate ways, the women allegedly went to the hotel’s front desk and somehow got a key to the running back's room. According to the suit, when West discovered two Rolex timepieces had been stolen from his suite he filed a police report.
Later, that same evening, West received a knock at his hotel room door and opened the door, believing it was the police again, but instead a man he did not know allegedly forced his way into the room and threatened him. West handed over around $5,000 in cash and a pair of Christian Louboutin shoes.
He is seeking $53,129 in damages.
