Deadpool fans rejoice because Ryan Reynolds has reportedly signed on for a sequel. So break out the chimichangas and let's celebrate!
Why the delay on announcing a sequel? Reynolds' agents told Movie Pilot that they wanted to "renegotiate for more money on future Deadpool film earnings," allowing him to make more than the $2 million he had made upfront for the first film.
As the beloved Deadpool would say, "say the magic words, Fat Gandalf" and you shall receive - Heroic Hollywood announced the sequel with Reynolds will begin to film this upcoming fall.
After becoming one of the highest-grossing R-rated films of all time, it's no surprise that there is going to be a sequel. Fans of the film went to see it not once, not even twice, but several times. Even "Pillowtalk" singer Zayn tweeted that he has seen the movie twice himself and Reynolds offered to see it a third time, if wanted, with him.
The movie date between Zayn and Reynolds has been confirmed. Hopefully they give out details of which theatre so we can all join.
In case you haven't had enough doses of Deadpool in your life, the Blu-ray will be out on May 10.
