NCIS: Los Angeles this week focused on a fire at a facility that housed a Department of Defense container, which was set to disguise the removal of sensitive material related to suspected terrorists. When it is possible that a firefighter could be involved, Sam and Callen go undercover in order to figure out who is behind the fire, which killed a firefighter.

Kensi and Deeks spoke with the commander who was in charge of the container and determined one of the lieutenants who had access to the container was missing. While searching for the lieutenant, they also were able to get closer into the investigation into what happened.

Meanwhile, Deeks worried that everything in his life was too good and he was worried about the metaphorical shoe dropping. Kensi continued to be a calming presence for her boyfriend, especially when he discovered some surprising news concerning his mother.

The mole plotline also got an honorable mention, with Hetty feeling worried about what could happen and having some conversations about it with Granger. Since the next episode is the finale of the seventh season, it is likely we will finally put this mole storyline to rest, which has been ongoing for quite some time.
