Amber Heard has reportedly filed for divorce from Johnny Depp after just over a year of marriage.
Heard allegedly cited irreconcilable differences as the cause for divorce after just 15 months of marriage. She is also currently pursuing spousal support from Depp. According to NBC, Heard filed for divorce on Monday in Los Angeles Superior Court.
According to People, Depp, 52, and Heard, 30, met while filming The Rum Diary in 2011. Depp was still with longtime girlfriend Vanessa Paradis at the time, but by 2013 he and Heard were an item. The couple became engaged in January 2014 and were married in February of last year. The romance continued amidst numerous rumors of trouble between the couple and Depp repeatedly expressed his love for his wife in interviews and award acceptance speeches.
Heard and Depp have no children together, but Depp does have two children, Lily Rose, 16, and Jack, 14, from his relationship with Vanessa Paradis. Depp has also been married once before to make up artist Lori Anne Allison.
