Actress Jensen Buchanan busted for DUI, driving on wrong side of road

Authorities have said that actress Jensen Buchanan was arrested earlier this week for allegedly driving under the influence after being involved in a head-on collision.

According to the California Highway Patrol, on May 18, The Young and the Reckless star was driving her Mercedes east on Route 154 when she allegedly drifted over the yellow lines and hit another vehicle driving west.

Buchanan, 53, suffered minor injuries while Bradley Asolas, 56, who was driving the automobile she hit, suffered serious injuries and was transported to a local hospital. Buchanan was arrested and booked after the crash.

She has starred in several popular daytime soap operas over the years including As the World Turns, General Hospital, The Young and the Reckless and Another World.
