Born and raised in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, Aubrey Drake Graham became one of the most successful rappers in hip-hop history, receiving countless awards, platinum albums and many fans.
He started his career as an actor playing Jimmy Brooks in Degrassi: The Next Generation at the young age of 15 in 2001. He continued to work for the next four years until the character that he was playing graduated the high school were the show took place, ending his acting career with Degrassi. In 2006, he began his rapping career, releasing his first mix-tape, "Room for Improvement," later on releasing "Comeback Season," and his breakthrough mix-tape "So Far Gone."
"Thank Me Later," his first studio album, was released in the summer of 2010. It was a huge success, reaching at number one on the Billboard 200 during the first week. From there, he's released multiple albums and mix-tapes, becoming even more famous as time goes by. He recently released his fourth album "Views."
