The Fillies and Stallions Derby Eve tradition will hit the red carpet this spring

Embellished hats of all sizes, signature Kentucky bourbon and the wagering on the two-minute horse race all encompass the hype that is the Kentucky Derby.

Hosted at Churchill Downs beginning in 1875, the TwinSpires sponsored race has repeatedly brought top name celebrities to the Louisville-based track year after year, according to the official Kentucky Derby site. More recently, a Derby-Eve party has popped up just a mere eight miles away providing an atmosphere only suitable for VIPs.

On Friday, May 6th, the Fillies and Stallions party will take place for its sixth year, with a number of surprise guests. Ashton Kutcher, Nick Lachey, Joey Fatone, Guy Fieri, Boyz 2 Men and Shaquille O’Neil are just a few of the top name celebrities that have graced the event with their presence in the past. The party will be held at the Mellwood Arts Center with a DJ lineup consisting of Ryan Coxx, Benny and DJ Etrayn.
