John Legend is tired of people shaming his wife, Chrissy Teigen, via social media so he has told her haters if they want to shame her then to do it to him as well.
The singer came to his wife’s aid on May 10 when he tweeted, “Funny there’s no dad-shaming. When both of us go out to dinner, shame both of us so Chrissy doesn’t have to take it all. We’ll split it.”
Legend is referring to an incident last month when he and his wife went out to dinner in Hollywood and Teigen received tons of backlash for leaving their daughter, who was a few weeks old, at home.
At the time the model shared a screenshot of some of the negative comments she was getting and tweeted, “I went to dinner. People are pissed. Good morning!”
Now though, with her hubby in her corner, perhaps there will be less trolls going after Teigen.
