Blinding flashing lights, both from cameras and the party inside the venue of the Mellwood Arts Center, set the tone for a celebrity-enlisted atmosphere of the the Fillies & Stallions Derby Bash. VIP sections containing specialty drinks were roped off, blatantly reserved for special guests who were to attend the Louisville, KY Derby pre-party. Of those who appeared at the Fillies & Stallions sixth annual bash were Joey Fatone, Aaron Rodgers, Jimmy Jean-Louis, Anna Nicole Smith’s previous partner Larry E Birkhead, and several more.
Former *NSYNC member, Joey Fatone has attended the Derby the past sixteen years, according to Bustle, and this year was no exception. He showed up to the Fillies & Stallions party clad in a black V-neck T-shirt, blue jeans, Adidas shoes, and topped the look off with a midnight black cabbie cap.

Aaron Rodgers of the Greenbay Packers also cordially attended the Tito’s Vodka-sponsored gala with a posse of NFL teammates. After all was said and done with the 142nd Kentucky Derby, Rodgers extended his stay to see his friend, Randall Cobb graduate from the University of Kentucky, FoxSports reports. Other sport-invested MBA and NFL celebrities on the guest list include D’Angelo Russell, Warren Moon, Devin Booker, Avery Williamson, along with several others.
Another familiar face, Joy actor Jimmy Jean-Louis, casually introduced himself to partygoers as “Jimmy.” As a newcomer to the Derby, Jean-Louis’ experience went well past the party. On Derby Day he posted a selfie on Instagram with the caption, “Beginner’s luck. One bet, one win thanks to Nyquist #kentuckyderby #haitianhero.”
Among other celebs spotted at the Kentucky Derby the morning after the party-filled evening include Kate Upton, Lady Antebellum, Josh Duhamel, Taylor Kinney, Kym Johnson, Robert Herjavec, Ray J, Stephen Amell, just to name a few.
Until next year those who were able to get in will remember May 6, 2016 as a Derby Eve for the books, and by books we mean ones filled with autographs.
