NCIS: New Orleans saw the team focusing on the peculiar case of a Navy Master Diver Chief Petty Officer Charles Greene, whose death raises more questions than answers as the team tries to determine who killed him and what happened. When a witness is found on his missing boat in the open waters, Pride works with the former Marine, Michael Buckley, as the man struggles with his memory to recall what happened to him.
While this is all going on, Brody’s new friend from Homeland Security, Agent Russo, comes to New Orleans, claiming to be temporarily taking over the DHS offices in New Orleans since General Matthews will no longer be in charge. Pretty soon, evidence from Greene’s case has a connection to a possible terrorist threat HS has been looking into.
Despite catching the suspects, the team also knew they weren’t in the clear yet since there was no information on who they were working with. When we discover who the person working with the suspect is, it only brought even more nervousness since the team has no idea a mole is in their midst.
In a side plot, Patton tried to help Pride find a new manager for the bar so he could have help while still running NCIS. The case eventually helps Pride with the issue, leaving one thing resolved for now.
