In 1991 she was Curly Sue, but in 2016 she became the season 10 winner of The Voice.
The reality competition show crowned its latest winner on Tuesday evening and former child star Alisan Porter won the contest.
Porter, 34, is the first female contestant ever to win. The mother of two was coached by Christina Aguilera and impressed the judges right from the very beginning when she sang Linda Ronstadt's "Blue Bayou" during the blind auditions.
News broke earlier this season that Porter is a former child actress who found fame at age 10 when she starred in the movie Curly Sue. Over the years, she struggled with alcohol abuse but has now been sober for eight years.
After her big win, Porter took to Twitter to share her excitement.
