Wonder why we haven’t seen much of Richard Simmons in pubic lately? Well according to one magazine, that is because the fitness guru has allegedly transitioned into a woman.
The National Enquirer has claimed that the 67-year-old’s absence in the spotlight is due to him getting breast implants and hormone treatments over the past two years. The mag further claims that Simmons, who has dressed in drag in the past, has now completely transitioned and is going by the name “Fiona.”
Before you make Caitlyn Jenner comparisons though we need to point out the Simmons’ rep has blasted this report and calls the Enquirer’s cover of the Sweatin’ to the Oldies host as a woman "not true and a complete fabrication."
The Enquirer fired back saying that it stands by its story and that the cover is not fake.
"Yes, this photo shoot is real!" the mag said.
As we reported, Simmons was hospitalized last weekend after exhibiting some "bizarre behavior," but when he was sent home on Monday he gave the explanation that he was simply dehydrated.
