Adam Levine showed his generosity and love for Christina Grimmie and her family by offering to pay for her funeral expenses.

Grimmie’s brother Mark, who tackled the gunman after he shot his little sister at a meet and greet, went on Facebook with the news that Levine called his mom personally and “said he will pay for the funeral and her plane flight and I was blown away.”

He also revealed that a friend of his had him look at the gofundme page set up for his sister, where he was stunned to see it had reached $100k.

Grimmie said he and his parents would read the messages left by the fans and that “all I can say is thank you. And Christina will be missed and never ever forgotten.”

He also left a link to a petition to help immortalize his sister in her favorite game Legend of Zelda.

Levine was among the celebrities and The Voice coaches who paid tribute to Grimmie in the wake of her untimely death. He was her coach on season six of the reality singing competition series.
