Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, one of the highest-grossing films of all time, will make its way home with a ton of extra scenes and a new rating.
Coming to Digital HD June 28 on 4K, Blu-ray 3D and standard Blu-ray on July 19, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice comes with an extended cut that adds 30 minutes onto the 151-minute PG-13 theatrical running time. The extended cut will be rated R for "sequences of violence." The film will also come to DVD on July 19, but without the extended cut.
The 4K release carries the Ultimate Edition on a 4K Blu-ray with a standard Blu-ray holding the theatrical version. The 3D version will carry the original cut on a 3D Blu-ray and a standard Blu-ray with the Ultimate Edition and the theatrical version. All Blu-ray combo packs come with a DVD copy and Ultraviolet copies of both the theatrical and extended cuts. The standalone DVD combo is just the theatrical cut and comes in a two-disc "Special Edition."

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice is the second installment in the DC Extended Universe following Man of Steel. Henry Cavill returns as Superman with newcomers Ben Affleck, Gal Gadot and Jesse Eisenberg as Batman, Wonder Woman, and Lex Luthor respectively. The film has grossed over $871.8 million at the worldwide box office, which makes BvS the 46th highest-grossing movie ever made.
The movie comes to Digital HD on June 28 and the DVD and all the Blu-ray combo packs hit store shelves on July 19.
