We begin this episode of Big Brother right where we left off. We know that one of the Freakazoids (Nicole, Glenn, Tiffany, or Corey) are going home tonight. The remaining three then, as a team, must decide who will be the new HOH and nominate two people for eviction. This is quite the two night premiere. Kudos CBS!

Nicole is hoping her second stay in the house is not short-lived. I’m with you Nicole, I wish it was Da’Vonne. Mama Day does find out that Tiffany is Vanessa’s sister (which was obvious). I think that could come back to hurt Tiffany, especially since Da’Vonne can cause quite the drama in the house. Paul is 100% against The Vets and I’m curious to see how much of the house supports him. The Vets know this and realize they have the advantage since they have played the game before and just need to keep playing a solid social game.

Nicole and Corey discuss who should be HOH if they both stay in the game.

Nicole really wants to be but plays Corey and makes him think she doesn’t want it. I’m impressed Nicole. It’s time to see who will be “hitting the road” tonight. My early guess is that the dad of the house Glenn is leaving tonight. The final round of this competition sees them snagging coconuts while balancing on a platform, locking them into the letters S.O.S. and then grabbing their flag. It is a close competition with Nicole and Tiffany advancing first. It is down to Glenn and Corey.

It is a photo finish but we see that Glenn’s coconuts were unbalanced. This means Corey survives and Glenn is the first HG evicted this summer. Paul, king of the Newbies, is very upset Nicole won. The remaining Freakazoids meet and decide Nicole should be the 1st HOH.

The HG say good-bye to Glenn. It was not a long vacation for Glenn but he tried his best. The HG notice his face on the memory wall is already black and white. Newbie King Paul confronts Corey why he didn't take HOH. Corey tries to swerve but stumbles through it and we learn quickly he is not a very good liar.

Paulie tells The Vets he is happy to be playing with some BB veterans. They realize this is good and could use Paulie as an ally down the road. This works out for him, because he could work with both sides of the house. King Paul wants to know what Nicole’s plan for her HOH is and Victor steps up to the plate and says he will go chat with her.

Victor tries to use his charm and physique to distract Nicole and he basically tells her that Jozea (his closest friend in the house) is coming after her and that the newbies are sticking together. I can’t tell if this was a great move for him or a terrible move to reveal all of this info.

Country Asian is back! James continues his pranking ways by fooling Nicole while she is in the shower. I’m so glad he is back this season. Team Big Sister are the first Have Nots of the summer and they get introduced to slop and their Have Not room, which is circus themed. Mama Day has to make her usual quips. Please let her go home next week.

I mention Mama Day, who has an interesting conversation with Jozea in the hammock. He claims to be “the messiah” of the Newbies and that he is one strong player while continuing to brag about himself. I hate that I’m agreeing with Mama Day but what is this guy thinking? He is one cocky dude. Da’Vonne immediately relays this information to Nicole and it would now appear Nicole has a new target. So much for keeping your hands clean Nicole!

Nicole’s plan is pretty basic. She wants Jozea gone and is debating putting up Paulie as a pawn. Paulie is a strong player that could ensure Jozea goes home. One of the many Big Brother quotes is “sometimes pawns go home.”

Paulie mentions this when they propose the plan to him. While the Vets promise their loyalty to him, Paulie seems split on the idea. I can’t blame him, I would be the same way.

It’s time for the first Nomination Ceremony of the summer. Nicole sticks with her original plan and nominates Jozea and Paulie. I’m ok with this plan, as long as it doesn’t backfire. Paulie is hoping he can trust The Vets while Jozea is obviously going to do everything he can to stay.

A pretty solid two night premiere to start the new season. We find out this June 26 that we will get new competition and this is sure to shake up the game!

“Expect the Unexpected!”
