Hillary Clinton's win was a historic night for women everywhere and many celebrities chimed with their feelings about her victory.
The strongest glass ceiling finally broke this week when Clinton became the first woman in history to earn a presidential nomination from a major political party and as The Daily Mail noted, after locking in the delegates needed to secure the nomination, Obama called Clinton to congratulate her.
“Her historic campaign inspired millions and is an extension of her lifelong fight for middle-class families and children," a statement from the White House read.
In her speech, Clinton made multiple dedications saying, "It is not about one person, it belongs to generations of women and men." She continued on by asserting that, “this campaign is about making sure there are no ceilings, no limits on anybody.” But, this victory belonged more to young girls who dared to dream larger than life dreams. Clinton’s win is renowned in more ways than one. For too long young girls and women have had limits set for themselves.
