It was a pretty scary moment for the former Tonight Show host as he was involved in an automobile accident while filming his series Jay Leno’s Garage.
The video shows the 66-year-old car lover as the passenger of a drag-racing vehicle driven by stunt driver Bob Riggle at Irwindale Speedway in California.
In one terrifying moment the car flips over several times with both men strapped inside. Once that stopped Leno can be heard asking Riggle if he is okay to which he replies that he is. Then, miraculously, both men emerge from the vehicle unharmed.
This incident occurred in the Season 2 premiere of Leno’s show so let’s just hope that the rest of the season’s episodes aren’t as death defying as this one.
