Johnny Depp’s estranged wife Amber Heard arrested for domestic violence (Audio)

The alleged domestic violence drama surrounding Johnny Depp and his estranged wife Amber Heard just took another bizarre turn.

TMZ reported on Tuesday, June 7, that Heard, who accused Depp of domestic violence, was actually arrested for domestic violence herself in 2009.

The media outlet noted that according to sources and court documents, Heard assaulted her former girlfriend Tasya van Ree after the two had an argument. Heard allegedly grabbed and struck Ree and was arrested after the incident, however, the state declined to file charges against her.

This report follows the news late last month in which Heard filed for divorce from Depp and accused him of domestic violence. Her claims and motive have come into question by those close to the Alice through the Looking Glass actor, but Heard’s lawyer has insisted that she is not trying to blackmail Depp.
