Former Glee actor Mark Salling entered a plea of not guilty at his hearing on June 3 for charges related to child pornography.

Last week, a grand jury indicted Salling with two counts of possession of child pornography.

The Associated Press reported that at his court appearance, Salling pleaded not guilty and was released on $150,000 bail with $100,000 coming from his own pocket.  This was ordered by the judge to ensure future appearances in court.

His arrest came in December last year when authorities confiscated material found on his laptop, a flash drive and hard drive which contained videos and images related to child pornography.

After the hearing, a trial date was set for July 12. He faces up to 20 years in prison for each count against him.

Salling’s Internet usage was severely limited and he was also ordered to wear an electronic monitoring bracelet, as well as undergo drug testing. His attorney, Alan Eisner, also surrendered his passport.

There was no comment from either Eisner nor Salling after the hearing.
