Rumor has it we'll get our first look at Marvel's Luke Cage Netflix series at Comic-Con next month.

The word comes from Deadline, which says that stars Mike Colter, Alfre Woodard, Theo Rossi and showrunner Cheo Hodari Coker will be in attendance. They say, for now, Krysten Ritter, who plays Cage's love interest, Jessica Jones, will not be there.

Colter appeared as Luke Cage for seven episodes of Netflix's Jessica Jones. The character gets his own 13-episode series on September 30. Paul McGuigan (Sherlock, Victor Frankenstein) directs the first two episodes of the series, both of which were written by Coker (Southland).

Luke Cage is a former convict who now fights crime with the help of his unbreakable skin and superhuman strength. Cornell Stokes or "Cottonmouth" (Mahershala Ali) is a villainous shady nightclub owner whose cousin is politician Mariah Dillard (Woodard). Rossi plays Shades, a criminal skilled in hand-to-hand combat with relations to Cage's past.
