Opening the show with a quick segment on E3 and its trailers, Chris Hardwick wasted no time in the first few minutes of @Midnight challenging his guests, Matteo Lane, Mamrie Hart and Grace Helbig. In honor of Tag Team Tuesday, each comedian was paired with a @Midnight follower on Twitter, fighting for their imaginary prize.

In the first challenge of the night, Rapid Refresh, guests made various jokes concerning ailments specific to millennials and Instagram user @model_mike. At the end of the round, all three guests were tied.

Moving on to Hashtag Wars, Hardwick presented the guests with the hashtag of the night, #graduationadviceinthreewords. Putting 60 seconds on the clock, highlights of the round were “Vodka will help,” “Drive for Uber,” “ready, set, blow,” “steal Netflix passwords,” “don’t send nudes,” “deodorant is shower,” “fake your death,” “don’t marry that” and “marry that, idiot.” Posing the same question to the Twitter community, various clever responses can be found below.

The next round was inspired by Yale Whiffenpoof Alumni, Inc., an acapella group that prompted Hardwick to present the guests with a various related YouTube videos. Following each video, Hardwick posed another question and Hart took the lead with 2100 points.

Transitioning to a live challenge, titled Gandalf the Single, Hardwick presented the guests with a photo of Sir Ian McKellen at the Shanghai marriage market, asking what they would write for their own introduction. Hart took the most points with, “Young, wealthy and educated… are overrated traits. I bone good.”

The next game, Amazon Wishlist: Donald Trump, focused on Donald Trump’s recent birthday, with Hardwick asking his guests to name what they think would be on Trump’s Amazon wishlist. At the end of the round, Helbig was eliminated, in third place by 50 points.

Moving on to For the Win, Hardwick presented Lane and Hart with Apple’s demonstration of invisible ink, allowing certain text messages to remain blurry until unblurred by the reader. Asking the two to come up with their own text to demonstrate the feature, Hart won the round with, “I’ve got big news! Just had sex with the hottest celeb. I masterbated.” A gross, but effective joke, Hart won the Internet for the night.
