Mariah Carey’s happily ever after with James Packer may have to wait a bit as her ex-Nick Cannon is reportedly refusing to sign the divorce papers.
TMZ reported that Cannon, who filed for divorce from Carey in 2014, will not sign the papers. Even though Nick initially got the ball rolling to end their marriage sources say he is refusing to sign off on the divorce now and doesn’t want to let Carey go just yet.
Despite the mother of his children having moved on and being engaged to her billionaire beau, Nick still won’t sign on the dotted line.
Packer and Carey got engaged last January and the singer is reportedly planning a small, but lavish ceremony. Nick’s refusal to divorce her, however, would obviously delay that ceremony.
