Richard Simmons released a statement to let his fans know that he is doing much better after his recent hospital stay, in fact he said he’s “feeling great.”
TMZ reported that a call from the 67-year-old’s Hollywood home was made on June 3 and Simmons was taken to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and evaluated after exhibiting some strange behavior.
People noted that following his release from the hospital, the fitness guru released a statement detailing the reason for his hospitalization and letting concerned fans know he was better.
"Thank you to everyone who has reached out with love and concern after hearing I was in the hospital," his statement read. "I was dehydrated and needed some fluids and now I am feeling great! Summer is here – drink plenty of liquids. Big hugs and kisses for caring."
